The home’s main living room is always a favorite spot to relax. This space faces the pool and beach, giving it photo-worthy views of the ocean and beyond. There’s ample seating for 18 guests and a 40-inch smart TV with a Roku for movie nights in.
In addition to the living room, Villa Mare is packed with amenities you would usually only find in a hotel. Keep up your fitness routine in the home gym (we can arrange personal trainers upon request), recharge in the sauna, or shoot some pool in the billiards room.
Villa Mare also includes a fully equipped kitchen and private chef service. The kitchen contains top-of-the-line appliances, a wine refrigerator, and bar seating that’s perfect for entertaining.
When it’s time to savor a meal, pull up a chair at either the indoor dining table (seats 13) or at the outdoor dining table (seats at least 8). Dining al fresco is always a good idea in the Caribbean - especially when your dining table faces the ocean.

Daybeds and lounge chairs surround the refreshing pool, and an umbrella is always within arm’s reach for a bit of shade. Within a few steps of the pool is a private stretch of white sand beach that’s reserved for you and your guests. With the goal of delivering the pinnacle of luxury experiences, we staff the property with a beach attendant who can assist with anything you may want.
Besides the living spaces, the property has a fully equipped laundry room and parking for up to 6 vehicles in the driveway. We provide round-the-clock concierge and security services in addition to daily housekeeping, chef, and butler service.

Guests have complete and exclusive access to the property, pool, and grounds. Parking for 6 vehicles is available in the driveway.
Interaction With Guests
Upon your arrival at the property, a member of our professional concierge team will welcome you and provide a tour of the grounds.
Once you are settled, our concierge will allow for as much privacy as you’d like, and we are available around the clock if you have any questions. We will provide a 24/7 phone number so you will have an immediate response.
For the duration of your stay, our concierge will stop by twice per day to assist with culinary services and planning excursions around the area. Housekeeping service and 24/7 security coverage are included, and we can arrange chef, butler, bartender, or babysitting services upon request.
When your trip comes to a close, our concierge will assist in the check-out process and can arrange your transportation back to the airport.

Transit
The estate is 30 minutes from Presidente Juan Bosch International Airport (El Catey), 1 hour from Arroyo Barril International Airport, and 2 hours from Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo by car.
In order to explore the Las Terrenas area, which will allow you to enjoy the island to the fullest, driving is recommended. Please let us know if we can assist with arranging a car service or rental.

For guests traveling from the United States, the nearest airport is Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo, which is about 2 hours away by car. Presidente Juan Bosch International Airport (El Catey) in Samana, which is a 30-minute drive from the property, receives flights from Canada and Europe.
A security deposit of $2,000, facilitated by the Host, is required at check-in, payable by cash or credit card. In case any damage is made to the Property, the value of the goods or repairs will be deducted from the deposit in case the damage is equal or less than the amount of the deposit.
